Geocaching Travel Bug® Static Cling- Large

I got this at HQ and although I did not see the note that is on the webpage about not showing through dark windows, I would not have hesitated as my windows are only slightly tinted. It did not show through so I cleaned the window and applied to the outside. Lost it somewhere between WA and Montana... I picked it out for the code as it lined up with my name and game name. I may make a new decal one if possible. Definitely would only use for a clear un-tinted window and not so sure of the strength of the static.

I like the product but it's not as convenient as I want it to be. It was staticky when I first opened it but it peeled off my window that night. Nearly impossible to reapply and I really don't want to tape it. Will probably give to my friend because she wants it and I'll order the decal for the outside of my car.

Just received mine and released it into the wild on New Year's Eve. Made sure I cleaned the glass well before applying and it has worked well so far. My windows aren't tinted, so it shows up well from outside the vehicle. It is just a static cling so don't plan to peel it off and reapply it multiple times; it's not a sticker and will lose its ability to cling if you mess with it too much. A bit pricey, considering that it's just a strip of vinyl but it's fun way to add a bit of dimension to the game. Highly recommend this item.

i placed this track able on the rear window of my pick up truck. It had to go outside due to tinted windows. It lasted about 2 months. I was washing the truck and realised it was NO longer in place. It did NOT stay on the window. Perhaps other purchasers will have better success.

Note that it does say it may not show well through dark windows. Our window is not a dark tinted window, but it didn't show up at all. We ended up putting on outside and it stuck decently for about 5 months, but then dirt would get under it and it stopped sticking well and eventually flew off. Not unexpected considering we weren't using it as designed, but it wasn't great to start with.
