The Geocaching Trifecta is a long standing tradition to those who visit us here in the Pacific Northwest, and it got a lot more relevant again in the summer of 2017.

Attempting to complete the Trifecta is a popular goal of geocachers traveling to the Seattle/Portland area.  The three geocaches considered as the Trifecta are the Mission 9 A.P.E. cache (GC1169), the Original Stash Tribute Plaque (GCGV0P) and the Geocaching Headquarters (GCK25B). 

This coin has amazing detail and has a tribute to each stage of the trifecta, as well as the tracking information on one of the four sides.  This makes a great gift, is an incredibly cool and unique geocoin, and also makes a great trackable paper weight! 

 

This version of the Trifecta 3D Tetrahedron Geocoin has a bronze finish and is trackable at Geocaching.com with a unique icon.

It was designed by Christian Mackey for Shop Geocaching. 

Dimensions:  Approximately 2.25 inches tall.

Very solid and really cool

This coin does not leave the house. It stays on top of my treasure chest as a decorative piece.

Very good first coin!

This is the best coin to have when starting a trackable! The price is totally worth it!! It is hEaVy!! Details are incredible! Cache on!!

What a beast!

For a coin/trackable, it's hefty. Mine weighs in right at 8.0 oz (~226 gr.). Definitely an immediate favorite trackable in my collection. Not only for its great design and execution but for memorializing one of the funnest geoacaching trips I've ever taken. Thanks for the awesome trackable!

Get one before they are gone

This is even better than it looks here. It’s solid and really well made. Nice detail work. I’m inspired to make the trip to HQ and visit all three caches commemorated on this unique trackable. Definitely worth the cost.
