Welcome to LodestoneTM a new experimental project from Geocaching HQ
Lodestone represents a new step forward in how NFC technology can enhance the broader geocaching experience.
In May 2026, Geocaching HQ launched a limited Lodestone beta within the Adventure Lab® platform at select Mega-Events and with select business partners. This pilot will help us explore new ways to support gameplay, validate visits, and create interactive geocaching experiences in real-world environments.
