We are celebrating 20 Years of Geocoins!

Way back in 2001, the first-ever geocoin was placed in a geocache sitting above Puget Sound, near Deception Pass in Washington State.

It was an outing by geocaching pioneers Moun10Bike and Jeremy to celebrate Moun10Bike's 100th find.  After climbing a questionably sturdy, and unquestionably high ladder to get the find, they each placed a trackable.  Jeremy placed an unactivated Travel Bug for someone to find, and Moun10Bike placed a new kind of trackable in the cache:  the first-ever geocoin to go into circulation (Moun10Bike number 002).

This now archived geocache, Light House Point, was a challenging way to celebrate this special milestone, and on that day Moun10Bike changed the game of geocaching forever.

Since then, geocoins have become one of the most creative and inspirational parts of this great game, and we are happy to celebrate 20 years of trackable fun and amazing designs!

This commemorative set of trackables was designed by our very own Roxxy, and is available for a limited time!

All four items in this set have their own unique tracking code and are trackable at Geocaching.com with a unique icon.

Keepsake treasure cache and coins!!

I highly recommend this box and the micro coins included. I would call them "charms" as they're so charming (lame pun intended hehe). The lid is trackable as are the coins but I'm having trouble letting them go. Excellent quality and everyone loves them. Great gift for yourself or another. The box is heavy. Well made. Like a paperweight! It closes with 2 tiny inset magnets in the box and lid. Beautiful coins that look exactly like the pictures.

Wow!

Got this set today and I'm blown away. The designer needs a raise! Everything about it is super cool. I love the coins that commemorate something special like this one. Also shipping was lightning fast! My only wish is that it would have been nice to have a proxy tag. Obviously no one is going to drop this into the wild. Proxies are a great way to collect coins but have them travel too. Good job y'all!! Thank you

Great Gift

Received as a gift and love it. The treasure box is just large enough to hold additional microcoins / charms. Every piece in this set has its own tracking code. We made proxies of all and sent them on their way into the world....The originals are just too great.

Love Them!

Really the coolest set of replica geocoins ever.
Got them from Santa for Christmas 2021. I wear them with two others on a bracelet.

Definitely would get them for friends!
