The 2025 Lackey coin and companion tag are both trackable at Geocaching.com with a unique icon.
This is the 19th design of the Lackey coin. This is a large two paneled geocoin with a hinge to open like a book. Due to the size of the two sides, the hinges can be somewhat loose, but are expected to hold together.
This geocoin represents all of the Lackeys who were on staff on January 1, 2025.
The Lackey coin and trackable tag each have their own unique tracking code so you can keep this amazing trackable to be discovered in your collection, and send the tag out to explore the geocaching world, one geocache at a time!
Dimensions: Approximately 2.625 inches wide x 2.75 inches tall. The total width is approximately 5.125 inches when the doors are open.
The trackable tag dimensions are approximately 2 inches x 1.625 inches.

my coin arrived in `perfect condition with no visible defects.. I am pleased with this coin.
The outer design of the coin is absolutely beautiful! Unfortunately, there are several more than minor issues.
The hinge is EXTREMELY loose (more than a little). It seems like the hole for one of the pieces is too large, leading to it wobbling. Also, instead of a sticker on the inside panels, this year the lackey images are printed directly onto the metal. This is a great idea in theory, but the print quality is pretty bad, as in several times worse than a sticker. Not to mention that the outer side of our coin has a pretty deep scratch in it.
The Lackey coins have always been amazing designs. It seems though that in recent years that quality control has been slipping. Wither by fault of the mint or GCHQ, the quality control aspect needs to be stepped up.
