July brings two new Treasure collections for geocachers to add to their Treasure case: Tools of the trade and Making Memories. The Tools of the trade collection will be available starting July 8 and the Making Memories collection will be available starting July 21.
Tools of the trade
This collection honors the gadgets and devices, from pencils to multitools, that have become essential equipment in the geocaching kits of cachers around the globe.
To start collecting these Treasures, cachers must have completed the Egg hunt collection. Once you complete that collection, you can collect these six Treasures by finding and logging Traditional, Multi-Cache, Letterbox Hybrid, or Mystery Caches with the Special tool required attribute and a difficulty of 3 or higher.
Making Memories
This collection will be available on July 21 when the Making Memories leaderboard challenge begins. To start collecting these Treasures, cachers must have completed the Geocaching origins collection. Once you complete that collection, you can collect these seven Treasures by finding and logging any Event or any micro, small, or regular sized geocache with a difficulty between 1.5 and 4.
If you complete the Making Memories collection, you will receive the Memory Maker souvenir.
