- Great for Geocaching! Review by Myschah

Price Value Quality I bought two of these for the reason that it recommended it was good for young children. My daughter is able to figure it out and then explain to me how to work it!!
Overall, it works really good finding caches. I have only found a few using mine due to not having it with me all the time. My daughter (age 13 now) has found over 100 with the one that I bought for her. She loves it and makes fun of us adults because WE are the ones that are having difficulties with it. - Awesome little rugged GPS Review by Jason

Value Quality Price Love this little guy, works like a champ and even gives you an alert when you're within 20 feet of your cache so you can focus on your safety and still know you're on target. Rechargeable batteries don't last long in it, but the alkaline high dollar batteries seem to last forever!

- EASY TO USE Review by Fetch & Getit

Price Value Quality We have been using this unit since it first came out on the market. It is easy to use and has features that other higher price units don't have. It is very accurate in the open areas but looses some strength under dense trees. Battery life is GREAT. We will keep using this until it falls apart, which we're sure won't be soon.

- Not too bad for a beginner unit Review by alpobc

Price Value Quality I find with the heading up setting the sun and moon icon never stop spinning unless you are moving and a regular quick pace, which is fine if you are several 100 meters from GZ, but when you get closer it is a bit nauseating. I set it for North up and just rotate the unit. It is a bit slower to sync and isn't as sensitive as my wife's Garmin Etrex 30. I downloaded the manual from the website, but it still has some vagueness.
I also use a Garmin 76MapCS, it needs the compass re-calibrated every time I turn it on.(Posted on 6/16/12)

Price Value Quality We used to Geocache with our Droid phone, but got rid of the data plan so could no longer use it. I did tons of research (and praying) and was led to this unit.
It is very easy to use.
- Using the device in the field is simple and everything can be done with one hand.
- Downloading from the Geocache website is easy with the use of Pocket Queries.
- Uploading your field notes to the site is also very simple.
Syncing is done via a provided USB cable.
It uses two AA batteries (provided) and it lasts a long time.
You also get 30 days premium membership to Geocache.com. This allows you to download caches with lots of detail (pictures, comments, logs, etc). Without the membership, you only download simple info that will get you to the cache.
This unit was made for Geocaching [GC] and it delivers as advertised.(Posted on 6/15/12)
- At least 4.5 out of 5 . We compared with other cachers phones . Review by wlkmn4

Value Quality Price We have been pit with other cachers useing the Geocacheing.com app on their phones and not only does this produck out last their batteries it is also several feet more accurate . But if someone planted the cache with a smartphone it doesnt matter lol . Its going to be up to 20 feet off anyway . 40 if your searching with a smartphone is possable . This is more accurate waterproof batteries last way longer you can have it onn all day with 2 AA Batteries . The only thing we dont like is it can take a couple minutes to aquire Sattelites . But maybe they all do that ? We give it 4.5 easy !Probably more like 4.9 out of 5 and we have found hundreds of Caches with it . Anotherthing it has to download caches off computer smart phones dont . It holds up to 100000 caches we have all within 40 miles of out house on it but they are not updated unless we do it with computer . For example a cache may be gone or have a TB in it . You wont know unless you uploaded that info that day .

- Good GPS Review by Coupleofhorses

Price Value Quality Great device! It's simple to use and you can download the caches directly to it or plug in the coordinates. We've been using it since December it's fairly accurate, but it has a tendency to lag some every once in a while (especially when the forest is really dense, or hiking at a fast pace). Still, it's a great GPS.

- good unit for beginner Review by gpsnewbie

Price Value Quality I bought this unit before even trying geocaching. The phone support people are very helpful with no wait time. They were able to get me on the road in no time. I agree with reviewers complaints about note writing. I usually just mark found it and write my notes on my laptop at home. Good value for the money. Have been having a blast.
