Geocaching Lanyard

I like that it says 'Geocaching.com', and for the price it's not bad. But it does feel kind of cheap. And it's way too long. The gps hangs in a really akward place on my anatomy - I'm going to have to try to shorten it. I'd rather pay more for a better quality, adjustable lanyard. hint, hint.

Grat value, the extra clips a plus, and it's good advertising for our sport! I bought the black one.

I had to put a little ring on my Explorist GC to hang it from the main clip because the clip was too small to attach to the gps "handle".

Didn't notice any offensive smell. I think the odor others mentioned is the just the vinyl used for the words and logo.

The lanyard is long, so I simply got out my needle and thread and shortened it! I don't mind customizing things to better meet my needs.

Very pleased!

Everything was great except the clip has a narrow gate opening and thicker metal which makes it a little limiting as to what you can put on it.

I love the sharp colors, It's great that I can detach my pen and flashlight with the pinch of some plastic...

My only complaint is that for me, a 5'6 female the lanyard hangs down past my stomach. It'd rather it be a little shorter so my pens aren't hanging in awkward places!

Great quality though.

Got here fast. I was even notified that it would be shipped late because of inventory. I love all the clips and the fact that the neck strap is wide. When not using the GPS I tuck it into my breast pocket so it won't be dangling while hiking or driving and its ready to pull out when I start caching. No fumbling around in pockets.

Received it today, and was pleased with the delivery time. Didn't notice any objectionable smell. I attached thebottom of my eTrex20 using one of the cords on the smaller clips. Is that secure enough to be sure the GPS will remain attached? Judging from other reviews, it sounds like it is OK. Just starting geocaching, and really enjoy it!

Well made, sturdy, love the clip thingys! I can clip on my car keys, pen and whatever else I need, great for those P&Gs, don't have to haul everything with me. Got one for my granddaughter too. She loves it as well!

it is a very nice lanyard and hold my Magellan Explorist GC gps very well I would say get the black because the white gets dirty if your a down a dirty geocacher. The only other thing is the smell when it comes out of the package. But that will ware off!! Very Nice

I have used my for over a year now, the clips work well still. When I pass just the GPS off to my husband, it is quick and easy to disconnect and reconnect. I have a pen also clipped for easy use. I have some pins I have put on the lanyard that I find in Geocaches. I like that other cachers can tell we are Geocachers too, and other people just don't notice it.
