Real Deal Hat

Have had this hat for six months and two areas I found semi-irked me...the back of the hat I found was poorly sewn together and came open w/n a couple of days. The front also was cut too small so that the stitching missed about three inches. Was able to fix with some thread and needle, but a little surprised I had to do this with something like it. Would I recommend it? Tentative probably, but with the understanding that it ma need some "adjustments".

I lost my last hat in Calgary and decided to get this one that was the best choice I ever made.
It broke on me once because me and my friends are pretty tough with it but it was easy to fix.
This hat was a little pricey though but still well worth it.
I love the story of the hat and I bring it on all of my geocaching adventures.

I have a small hat size and have a difficult time finding hats that fit well. For this reason I was a little wary of ordering a hat without trying it on. It came in and is a perfect fit. It is a great hat for all of your outdoor adventures!

I love to wear my Real Deal Hat. I got it for a present from my son in law. The fact that it was featured in the Woody Harrelson Zombie movie makes it very cool! The fact that my son in law gave it to me makes it very cherished. I can't see this hat every getting worn out. It goes with me everywhere. I customized it with a sheep fleece band. My dog chewed the band but didn't hurt the hat. I am replacing the band with an alpaca band from a steering wheel cover purchased from an import store because I had a hard time finding another piece of sheep fleece without buying the whole skin. It is a great hat for fly fishing.

Normally I am a ball cap kind of gut, but this hat is great! Right out of the box it fits great and wears like a 5 year old comfy cap. Looks good, feels good, keeps the sun off my neck and face. Great buy!

I bought this for my boyfriend for christmas, I am incredibly excited to give it to him. I think hell love it, I love the summary / origins of the hat labeled inside the cap.

Just purchased this hat. It covers your face, ears, and neck I've had cowboy hats from the 60's, Panama hats from the 70's, and straw hats from 2010. Add a bandana and you have the ultimate hat for today. Fits well and you can beat it up> Get one, well satisfied.

As part of the above referenced order, I purchased a Real Deal Hat. My order just arrived and the hat is great in most ways except one. The problem with mine is that the “bucket” is way too shallow. It sits very high on my head even if it is pulled down as far as possible. Even with the top of my head uncomfortably pushing out the top of the hat, it is almost like it is just perched up there. I have thinning hair so have experience wearing lots of hats and have never encountered something like this. The overall look and quality of the hat is great, just way too shallow. Since they claim each one is unique, maybe this is a problem with just my particular hat. I will need to decide if I will return it for a refund or try another.

I just received my hat for Fathers day from my daughter and son-in-law. It fits like is was made just for me. Since it was a gift, rating the price is a little unfair, but I believe that they would agree with my rating. I have posted a picture of me wearing the hat on Facebook.
